Our youth at Upland are challenged to grow spiritually with exciting year round activities. With this array of year long activity, our Upland youth are encouraged to build their bible knowledge, grow closer in unity and find their place in God's kingdom!
YEAR ROUND: Every Sunday morning and Wednesday night, we offer Bible classes for all ages.
September-March: 3rd-12th graders prepare for the Leadership Training for Christ conference. They work on individual and team projects such as song leading, christian art and drama. All their efforts culminate in our yearly Easter weekend trek to the convention to present and compete at a beautiful resort in Phoenix, Arizona.
April to June: The teens attend the Southern California Youth Jams. One Sunday a month, a different local congregation is scheduled to host a bible competition, fun activity and dinner to encourage our SoCal youth to get together for fellowship and to study God's word.
June-August: 4th-12th grade youth participate in our Service Challenge Days. Once or twice a month, they work at a nursing home, low income shelter or girl's home from 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. Each day ends with dinner, campfire and devotional.
June: Grade school youth can attend Camp Tanda at Big Bear Lake.
July: 7th-College age attend the Ignite Teen Camp in Angeles Forest.
August-March: Our youth study and compete at various Bible Bowl competitions from Northern California through Phoenix, Arizona. Our Upland teams have won multiple first place trophies and scholarships while having fun traveling, competing and meeting Christian teens across the southwest. We also host our own Bible Bowl in Upland on the 3rd weekend of February.
